North Carolina Republican switches party affiliation:

Good for him.

I quit voting Republican in 2000 after 32 years, and I have no regrets.

Keep driving them over to us wingnuts.

Quote:
Yesterday, a North Carolina Republican congressional candidate switched his party affiliation to Democrat, saying that he “refuse[s] to be part of an extremist movement in the GOP that only appears to thrive on fear and hate mongering of anyone and everyone who doesn’t walk their line.”

Primaries ahead. If the TP guy wins on the Republican side it may set up a win for this insurgent.

I recently read that another Republican in Florida is running as a Democrat for governor. Charlie Crist.

I just hope it is enough to counter the voter suppression that is going on in these states.....

I think both NC and Texas have major roadblocks in place......

show me a red state and I will show zero cases of voter fraud

I guess in Texas you have to have a special id for voting? What klnd of small fucking government is that?
