I texted with my niece who lives with her husband and kids in El Jadida on the coast an hour south of Casablanca and ~150 miles from the epicenter. They felt it, but no damage. When big earthquakes hit unreinforced masonry or stone structures, it's bad news.

My thoughts too regarding unreinforced masonry. Hopefully the rebuilding efforts will require such reinforcing.
