Exasperating!
After the war to gain independence from Spain, Black Cubans who played a prominent part in the struggle came to realize that the promises made to them were just promises and decided to organize a comfort space for themselves by declaring an independent state in Eastern Cuba.

The effort was violently thrashed in 1912 by locals and outsiders.

It's beautiful to watch people fight Communist tyranny..... ACTUAL Communist tyranny, not the imaginary kind some Americans are fighting.

Viva la Cuba!!!!! Viva la Libertad!!!!!

Thank you for your words, we do not negotiate with murderous dictator terrorists, they have to leave Cuba and when Cuba has freedom they will be judged for their crimes.

Wow! Looking to Miami for leadership on Cuba.

Miami which has been the most anti agrarian reform center in the world, has been the leader in turning the screw on the Cuban people especially since Obama eased some of the pressure.

Miami which has dominated the Cuban policy for decades had a free hand under Trump leading to maximum weaponizing of the US dollar re Cuba.

I suspect that Biden is hit by a pre-emptive strike designed to tie his hands to prevent any similar Obama practice.

What he Biden should guard against is any attempt to push him into a Libya solution.

Remember this:jacobo Arbenz of Quatemala only requested mild agrarian reform. As a matter of fact he offered compensation.

I agree that what is happening is horrendous and needs to be stopped.

This is a problem that the locals need to remedy with some assistance from the world. In a coordinated tough approach.

With the US placing sanctions and not followed by a majority of countries little will be accomplished.

Tears of Blood”, the new song for Cuba by Descemer Bueno, Maykel Osorbo and Isabella Castillo

The singer of Cuban origin, Descemer Bueno, one of the authors of the song “Patria y Vida” shared a new song “Tears of Blood” on his social networks with Maykel Osorbo and Isabela Castillo.

“Tears of blood is a song that I have had the honor of composing together with the brave Maykel Castillo (El Osorbo) who is currently being held in Cuban jails for confronting the Cuban regime and joining the cry for freedom of his people. We are also accompanied by the voice of Isabella Castillo, a Cuban actress and singer, who shares our same anguish about the reality of the Island, “the singer-songwriter said on YouTube. The video of this topic accumulates more than 20 thousand reproductions in said network.

“This song speaks to the conscience of a people that has suffered the oppression of the dictatorial regime for 62 years and that today is in one of the most critical episodes. Oppression, scarcity and the violation of the most basic human rights make Cuban families bleed every day, ”Bueno adds about the new song.

“These tears and this song go to the people of Cuba and to all those who bleed every day,” concluded the renowned Cuban musician.

Descemer Bueno is a Cuban singer, songwriter and producer. He was born in Alquízar, Artemisa, on January 23, 1971. On the island he graduated as a guitarist from the Manuel Saumell and Amadeo Roldán conservatories in Havana.
