Fare well to dear friend--Sadie.
All,

Today, I took Sadie to the vet because of sudden, rapid weight loss, lethargy and labored breathing. As it turned out, the cancer had spread to her lungs and possibly her liver. At that news, I opted to end her suffering. 15 years is a long time for a Dalmatian, and every one of those years was great. She was a wonderful dog and a true friend.

I'm going to miss my little girl.

Dave, I'm so sorry and I know what you're going through. It sounds a lot like what happened with my boy Rascal from Mattaponi. Rascal has been gone for about 6 years but I caught myself thinking about him today. They're never with us long enough but the good memories last.
