All this whining about getting Trump for what he's done needs to stop!

On his last day in office, I see Trump signing his very own all encompassing presidential pardon in front of rolling cameras. In effect he will be trumping Biden's inauguration.

That "all encompassing presidential pardon" wouldn't shield him from states prosecutions would it? Far from being a barking dog the SDNY and others are waiting to bite.

You think he's not going to pardon himself? No stomping of feet here, little dude. Just pointing out Trump's first term end game.

He may try a self-pardon but it won't shield him from states charges although he will claim it does. Then he will refuse to return stateside to face prosecution on that basis. Down the road it will be up to the courts to decide if a self-pardon is even possible.

Trump and all of his willing co-conspirators should be doing life without parole in solitary confinement in Guantánamo then!

Don't know and neither do you.

When Trump self pardons it will be the federal court system that determines intent, with SCOTUS having the final say.
