It isn't enough to enshrine some rights in the Constitution...
Carl Sagan's interview with Charlie Rose in 1996. Almost twenty years ago we were again being warned about fanaticism and ignorance and now it's worse. We were warned by Jefferson when he wrote the Constitution that a stupid people would be deserving of this Constitution, not that anybody was paying much attention then either.
