Is this one of the ones that Mazda or the other Japanese makers designed, er...um. CO-designed for them?

Yeh sure...Fix Or Repair Daily. Especially that Ford Exploder.

I have this great independent mechanic over in Wheaton. When Rich retired in 2010 he told me, "Thank God for the Ford Taurus. The piece of shit bought me two homes and kept my family financially comfortable for over 20 years."

Lol it's even the 1.0l. 'But Ford is sh*t' LMAO!

I'll be happy to give anyone a ride back from the junkyard in my current Ford product years from now Agreed about the Taurus though, it can be a problem. But they also sold a LOT of them.

They sure did. And a lot of Americans, who actually spent 5 minutes investigating reliability and frequency of repair data after they found their Taurus or Exploder in the shop every 90 days, were tearing their hair out for trusting US auto industry propaganda. Or maybe even worse, trusting Mr. JD Power III...product of the US auto industry, and his bullshit IQS ratings. Who TF cares about "initial quality"?
