I just defined a particular type of bit. A schtick isn't just any old bit. In fact, it doesn't have to even be a bit to be a schtick. Curley's "Nyuck, nyuck, nyuck" is a schtick but it isn't a bit.

I understand that in order to win a senate seat in Virginia the Dems had to run a conservative and that's fine. You do what you have to do.

But in a national election we don't need to compromise like that.
