Palin would get too much media attention and that would drive Trump bonkers.

Orrin Hatch, another way past his prime politician steps into the McCain/Trump controversy.

Orrin Hatch Thinks John McCain’s Wish For A Funeral Without Donald Trump Is ‘Ridiculous’
Quote:
“Well, he’s the president of the United States and he’s a very good man,” the senator said of Trump.
What is ridiculous is Hatch calling Trump a very good man.

New Emails Show the EPA Has Kept Pruitt’s Appearances Secret From Fear of Public Scrutiny, Not Safety Concerns

Wouldn’t want those pesky reporters digging up facts and asking real questions. We have an agenda here, damn the facts! We have Big Energy’s agenda to execute, screw the public with their silly desires for clean air and water!

Two of Scott Pruitt's top aides resign

(CNN) - Two of Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt's closest aides at the agency resigned on Wednesday, an EPA official confirms to CNN.
Sarah Greenwalt, a senior counselor to Pruitt, and Millan Hupp, who worked as Pruitt's scheduling director, both resigned on Wednesday, the official told CNN. Their resignations are set to take effect late this week and early next week, the source said.
Hupp recently testified before the House oversight committee that she did many personal tasks for Pruitt, including house-hunting and inquiring about obtaining a used Trump hotel mattress.
Hupp and Greenwalt were also the two aides who were set to receive Pruitt-approved pay raises despite the White House's refusal to sign off on the raises.

HHS Secretary Illegally Spent $341,000 on Travel

Former Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price repeatedly failed to follow federal requirements during his travels, wasting hundreds of thousands of dollars in government funds, according to the internal watchdog of the department he once led.

The inspector general’s report, released Friday morning, comes 10 months after Price, an orthopedic surgeon and former congressman from Georgia, resigned under pressure amid criticism for his extensive use of private jets while traveling on government business.

“Our rigorous review of former HHS Secretary Price’s use of chartered, military, and commercial aircraft found that 20 out of 21 trips did not comply with applicable federal regulations and HHS policies and procedures, resulting in waste of at least $341,000 in federal funds,” Tesia Williams, a spokeswoman for the inspector general’s office, said in a statement. “We recommend the Office of the Secretary review the lack of compliance with federal requirements and determine appropriate actions to recoup the travel costs.”

The Office of Government Ethics strongly reprimanded Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross for his failure to completely divest himself of his far-flung stock holdings in a timely fashion and for taking short positions in an effort to offset certain stocks until they could be sold...

David J. Apol, acting director and general counsel of the ethics office, told Ross that “your failure to divest created the potential for a serious criminal violation on your part and undermined public confidence.”

Wilbur Ross - Biggest Grifter in American History?

Forbes claims they’ve found a striking pattern. “Many of those who worked directly with him claim that Ross wrongly siphoned or outright stole a few million here and a few million there, huge amounts for most but not necessarily for the commerce secretary,” Forbes reports. “At least if you consider them individually. But all told, these allegations—which sparked lawsuits, reimbursements and an SEC fine—come to more than $120 million. If even half of the accusations are legitimate, the current United States secretary of commerce could rank among the biggest grifters in American history.”

Trying to keep track. Per Whell, WSJ is run by “lefties”, or at least not by Trumpkins. Is Forbes now on his “fake news” list?
