It makes sense. It also eliminates possible antagonism based on whether a child wears a mask or not.

BTW, we've been watching season 2 of "The Indian Doctor" on Acorn. It's from a decade ago, but HIGHLY pertinent to today. Ignorance and religion vs science during a smallpox outbreak.
