Just imagine Whell’s response to this exact scenario but with president Hillary’s personal lawyer engaging in blatant pay-for-play. “Lock her up!” He’s beyond hypocritical.

There would be much gnawing of furniture on the right if the Clintons engaged in anything close to this. I hope Cohen realizes the level of corruption he's been engaged in and spills his putrid guts to Special Counsel Mueller.

Manafort's fair haired boy reported to Allenwood Federal Penitentiary today to do his bit. I hope Cohen and the rest of them will be in the slammer soon. Roody Ghouliani must be soiling himself in anticipation.

The motivation from the NBC story and the Novartis statement was identical - trying to purchase influence with the Dotard.

You mean, like, $150K - $250K per engagement speaking fees?

You mean, like, directing folks who wanted access while she was Secretary of State to the Clinton Foundation to donate?

You mean, like, selling access to the Lincoln bedroom?

Novartis AG Chief Executive Officer Vas Narasimhan said the Swiss drugmaker “made a mistake” in signing up lawyer Michael Cohen to give the company insight on President Donald Trump’s health-care plans.

“Yesterday was not a good day for Novartis,” Narasimhan wrote to employees Thursday in a letter reviewed by Bloomberg News. A day earlier, the drug company said it had paid $1.2 million to a firm led by Cohen, who is at the center of a U.S. law enforcement probe, as well as a civil lawsuit related to payments to an exotic dancer.

“We made a mistake in entering into this engagement and, as a consequence are being criticized by a world that expects more from us,” Narasimhan said in the letter. “What defines us now is how we respond to this difficult situation.”

^^ And AT&T explained their reasons for engaging Cohen to all of it's employees, though short of an apology.

When you don't have an argument, specious or otherwise, why don't you just simply STFU, Mike?

The conservative debate playbook - When all else fails, resort to "whataboutism" involving Hillary.
