I hear a lot of it - I've been told Cleveland is the capitol of West Virginia - but never, um, 'kenned' to it? On the flip side my mom was the smacking-hand guardian of all held dear by grammar notzis

Btw, I have a very old dictionary, 1900 or so. Once I looked up hillbilly and it only had one entry - Michigan dirt farmer.
