I'm just pointing out that a lot of people feel a lot of ways about a lot of things. What matters most is facts. Feelings from various segments of the population may derive from fact and they may derive from hunches, conventional wisdom, wives tales or the media. There is plenty of racial coverage lately from which different people draw different conclusions.

For example, a significant portion of the GOP base sincerely believe that blacks are getting over on them. Should we be equally concerned about their feelings?
