A real question since I don't know, do they play the national anthem at spectator events WWF, Nascar, boxing matches, etc.?
Think they do it at the Inday 500.

If all of that had happened, no one would be telling us not to dishonor the victims and “politicize” Paddock’s mass murder by talking about preventive remedies.

No, no, no. Then we know what we’d be doing. We’d be scheduling immediate hearings in Congress about the worst domestic terrorism event since 9/11. Then Donald Trump would be tweeting every hour “I told you so,” as he does minutes after every terror attack in Europe, precisely to immediately politicize them.

You keep right on going, Finn, but that's a cliff just ahead. You might want to stop before you get there.

Incidentally, who cares? This isn't about the national anthem. Its about the time and place that individuals choose to protest.

How very Trump like. whell's not worth the effort, as he's obviously an idiot, but fighting Trump and his "ideas" is imperative for the good of the country.

I'd count that as a victory, but I know you're lying again.

I do. Do not like to be controlled and stage managed at a private event where I am paying to be a spectator other than the standard rules and regulations regarding civil behavior and not to bring in banned items.

I used to go to NBA games in the 60's & 70's in Chicago and it was not unusual to see several African Americans not stand up for the National Anthem. So why the big deal now, except our contemptible POTUS has made it so.

So, it's not about the flag, anthem, the message or even race? It's only about time and place. Their choice to kneel silently sullies the sanctity of the NFL game, a game full of spouse abusers, full-throated violence, chronic brain damage, and 11 minutes of action scattered among 100 commercials over 3.5 hours?
