I did find the suicide question to be way over-the-top nasty.

I think they were his own quotes. Can't be sure, of course. But they all seemed to come from a short list of sources that all sounded the same.

He seemed way too eloquent to me....and his posts were a tad too perfect.

It's possible. I was giving him the benefit of the doubt and assumed that he was just reposting his own work from other sites. So, at the very least, he was a little lazy.

Now you're getting to know DJ. Another step on that journey is to be found in his thread asking for "affirmative action" for the poor outnumbered and abused baggers.

I'm way to busy to comment on all these recent posts right now, but I do value them and will try to respond sometime soon.

It is true that those who tread to the right are a distinct minority here. I do find it interesting that one of that persuasion would suggest affirmative action here. I am pretty sure that the suggestion was tongue in cheek, but it is interesting nonetheless.

Having grown up as a white boy in suburbia, I had no real experience at being a minority of any sort. When those of us who have experienced majority status most of our lives find ourselves in a minority position, it should give us some understanding of those who have grown up facing it their entire lives. It just might show that affirmative action isn't a half-baked do-gooder idea.

Regards,

D-Ray

I'm left-handed.

Have you ever known DJ to attempt anything humorous at his own expense?
