Us Missourians got the same problem with KC and St. Louis, not to mention Columbia.
To be honest, I can barely call myself a hillbilly, just managed to be in the Northern edge of the Ozarks. But, back in the "good ol' days" we had some fellers around here what could damn near "out hillbilly" most anybody. Now we're turning into a bunch of them damn "cosmerpaltins"
To tell the truth, my favorite part of Missouri is way down South, the part, like they say, we could cut off and give to Arkansas...and raise the IQ level of both states. Hell, that's pretty close to Tennysee.
Now we're down to a peckerwood insultin' a cracker...what's this world comin' to? But I love ya, an' not in the banjo strummin' sort of way,
