He identifies China as our major economic competitor which has outfoxed us especially since joining the WTO.
Russia with a GDP comparable to that of Italy is not in the same league.

He calls attention to rural or what is called 'fly over' America: it is exhibiting some of the same negatives as the worst of our inner cities. This is occurring whilst we seek to adopt other countries.

He is definitely against 'caravan immigration'.

Network news (CBS/NBC/ABC/FOX) is all about entertaining the viewer and keeping those two eyes glued to the TV in order to sell product. I think Fox News knows it will maximize profits by entertaining Trump's base, which is basically their's too, and Tucker is making all that money because he is entertaining and knows how to play to that base. He also may believe everything he's preaching. Then again, maybe not.

Anyone who says China isn't our primary competitor and/or Russia is an economic powerhouse doesn't know what they are talking about, or has a hidden agenda.

The moral decline of rural America is a case of pitting the country mouse against the city mouse. Identity politics.

Immigration issues are far too complex to be for or against any one alleged issue. It's being used to get both side worked up and mad at the other. Identity politics.
