Florence came home yesterday and just now I think I'll take her up a second cup of coffee.

She is still tired and says she feels like a pin cushion. Asking Mother Mary for her intercession as we get the results of the pathology tests on the fluid tomorrow.

I misheard the doctor and the fluid was in the right lung cavity not the lung proper. We saw our GP yesterday. The pathologist found cancer cells in the fluid. We need to do a full body scan to locate the source. Blood work rules out leukemia Liver and Kidney tested good, we are guessing that the ovarian cyst might be involved.
Our GP is sending her to the oncology group at Howard Gen and we are going to fight, this damn thing cannot have her. Probably go the chemotherapy route. So if I am scarce around here you will understand why.

Rob, my thoughts are with you and Florence. At least you're close to good hospitals. HoCoGen is quite good and Hopkins, with which Howard is affiliated, is the best.
