The only amendment that matters is the 2nd.

Hillary made a huge mistake throwing the word deplorable out there. It only caused us to band together, especially women and we formed one hell of a group on FB real fast and called it the deplorables. I did not kid you when I said it grew from not existing to half a million people in a few weeks. We pulled it off from all walks of life and kicked her to the curb.
So you bundled yourselves with racists, xenophobes, the greedy and the egocentric by choice.

He did have the entire establishment against him.

But they are by no means liberal.

Bernie Sanders represented the liberals, and I believe he would have beaten Trump. But he faced the same thing Trump did. The entire establishment was against him and they managed to stop him before the nomination.

I watched the returns on PBS. The supposedly liberal station.

At the start of the evening the atmosphere among the talking heads there was absolutely giddy in their anticipation of the coming Clinton landslide. They were making fun of Trump right and left. It was hilarious to watch how their mood changed as the evening wore on. First realizing that Clinton was not going to win in a landslide, and then the horror when it became apparent that she could lose.

Then a funny thing happened. The gave up. Even when she still had a chance to pull it out they became resigned to defeat. I mean they just folded up like a cheap suit.

Only insofar as personal /house hold defense against others armed by it.
Amazing how many progressive civilized countries do just fine without it.

They don't have nearly as many crazies as we do.

Besides I need my guns for watching scary movies late at night.

When things get intense, I'll get out one of my guns and hold it while I watch the movie. Then I don't get as scared.

Now that's funny.
Finally a damn good reason to own a gun, "to watch scary movies".

My guns have gotten me through many scary movies and I haven't shot out a TV screen yet. Although I've heard it's been done a time or two.

Knowing that the movie isn't really real mine is empty, but having it there is reassuring.

Eegads. Madame Tussaud's is preparing a Trump figure:

Sophie Crudgington inserts Yak hairs onto an unfinished wax figure of President-elect Donald Trump at the Madame Tussauds studio in West London on Wednesday. Trump's wax figure will be revealed in January.
