I prefer the wheelguns but I agree the Browning Hi-Power is nice. However when it comes to semi-autos I like the full sized 1911 in .45 ACP better. Of course that's also a Browning design. That Dude was a genius when it came to firearm design.

I have an air pistol copy of the Python and that rifled 6" barrel is pretty damn accurate. Just ask the white tailed lawn rats or the carrion eaters who decided to land on our roof one day.

The very example of the usage of the idiom "string together" is: He can hardly string a sentence together.
Ignorant idiom.

Wassssup bitches! Another example of idiom.

Indeed. The Oxford Dictionary provides a definition for "string together" as "to combine words or phrases to form sentences."

So I guess the Oxford Dictionary is idiotic because it proves Ike is wrong yet again. You'd think that after so many of his false assertions have been proven wrong that he'd learn to handle it a bit more graciously.

Indeed my ass. And WTF is wrong with you? That's exactly what I said. You can't string a sentence together, you can string (combine) words together to form a sentence.

If "string a sentence together is common English idiom" it's ignorant grammatically incorrect common idiom. "Sentence" is singular. Stringing something...anything together, beads, words, any fucking thing requires more than one. You can't string one thing together. You can't string a (a means one) sentence together.

I don't give a shit in your hat how common it is.

A sentence is obviously strung together with words. Are you implying that it is necessary to insert "words" in the idiom to ensure that the reader doesn't come to the impression that a sentence is build with beads or pearls?

You screwed up and made an ass of yourself with Matteos, Ike. Get over it. Better yet, apologize.

Obviously my ass, you double-talking schmuck. Matteos said "...string a sentence together...". You can't string one thing together.

And I should get over it? You keep coming back to it...pot/kettle dipshit. You get over it.

But if you're demanding an apology from me to Matteos...fine, here's my apology. Sorry when you were trying so hard to be cutesey and snarky, you got caught out being such a linguistic dumbass Matteos. Please accept my fucking apology.

Of course you don't. Accepting the prevalence and acceptance of its English usage would require you to admit that you're wrong. The fact that you don't like it doesn't make the slightest difference.

And, again, do you really want to go there? Your posts are riddled with errors of grammar, punctuation and syntax so getting all pedantic over someone else's posts is probably a mistake.

Especially since you're wrong.
