OK. So in your example then...what does the mouse the 10 cats are fighting over represent? Because, take away the oil and I can't identify a single goddamn thing anywhere in the middle east, outside of Israel or the UAE worth fighting over.

Ever seen anybody on House Hunters International looking for a place to live in the middle east other than in Dubai or somewhere in Israel? It's the asshole of the planet.

No hidden meaning at all - just a comparison for effect; a whole lot of different countries and their weapons jammed into one relatively small spot on the globe - sooner or later it's going to escalate - even if by mistake.

Also, if I were Israel, I would be more than happy to let the factions/countries previously occupied with firing missiles into Israeli territory now duke it out with each other.
