It's Official...James Foley Is Beheaded

And everybody knows it's al-qahwa's all around in every coffee shop and cafe in Gaza City. Hamas is no different from Al Qaeda or Isis.

I have no sympathy for the tactics of any of these groups, but there is a difference. Hamas, like them or hate them, were democratically elected by the people of Gaza and are not trying to start a Pan-Arab Islamic caliphate, nor attack Americans on our soil. In short, Hamas does not represent a national security threat to the US and ISIS does.

Agree on Hamas. To early to say for ISIS. If it's commander is in Muhammad's league, watch out!

The Brits are quite concerned because they guy on the beheading video was seemingly a Brit, one of several hundred fighting for ISIS. The UK is quite concerned about some of these jihadis crossing back into Turkey and flying unmolested back into the UK with some dastardly plans.

National security threat my ass. Isis has never attacked an American on American soil. There's no philosophical difference between Hamas, Al-Qaeda and Isis. None. Elected or not...anointed by Allah or not. Hamas wants Israeli Jews and anybody who supports Israeli Jews dead. And beheading would be the preferred method.

And James Foley's head in a sack makes it coffee's all around for every peace loving pacifistic Hamas supporting voter in every cafe in Gaza City...and you know it. If there's ever joy in Gaza City it's today...and with the next report of dead Jews from the latest rocket attack.

I pointed out the philosophical difference. Hamas is fighting for a Palestinian homeland whereas Al-Qaeda and ISIS are fighting for a Pan-Arab caliphate. Al-Qaeda and ISIS see attacking America as a useful strategy in fulfilling their quest, whereas Hamas doesn't.

This doesn't mean that Hamas is a bunch of boy scouts. It means their objective and tactics don't represent a threat to our national security, whereas Al-Qaeda and ISIS's do.

Wasn't Foley beheaded in Iraq?

What in the hell does that have to do with Gaza?

No, I still don't support going to war in Iraq nor do I have any pity for Israel.

Have a great day, Ike.

Dave
