Isn't it cool
how the democratic party is spiraling into an abyss? Man, what's with all the sudden policy changes, and "reaching out" to Republicans? I think it's great that they finally realized that the American people can still hire and fire. I hope the Republicans "get it" too. All of this from one Senate seat election.

In the words of the Lion King, it's the Circle of Life. The GOP was counted out for dead a year ago after their 8 year fest of malfeasance and it seems like the legislative incompetence of the Dem's is taking its toll in the polls. That said, if Sarah and her Tea Party mob take office, the country will turn on them even quicker than they've turned on Obama as they are certain to take incompetence and ideological intransigence to new heights. The pendulum swing that would result from the reign of Queen Sarah would make the last couple of swings seem tame indeed.

Well, with the new guy signing his autograph "42" I'm thinking they don't. Love to be proven wrong.

They will never "get it".
Remember, you ended up with the Dem majority and a Dem president because the last administration sucked.
If/when the Republicans regain power this time they will do so with a sense of mandate and arrogance unparalleled. If it is headed by that palm note reading nincompoop from Alaska, it will end up being the most disasterous period in American history. I hope I'm wrong. But I seriously doubt it.
God help us all.

I don't see how they could become more arrogant than they already are, especially now they have Senator Centerfold on board. In the 26 years I have been here I have never seen such blatant hypocrisy as recently displayed by McConnell, Boehner and their motley crew. Gregg has to be the most underhanded SOB alive.

Remember Noon, I want Obama to fail, just like Rush does. The things they are failing at, are things they have no business doing in the first place. I would be their biggest cheerleader if they were doing things that they should be doing (stuff like keeping our borders secure and such). Let's face it my misguided friend, our Government has become too big to function within the limits of the constitution. America's government is supposed to be just big enough to do the basic things. Washington is a big old pot of rotten politician stew, and every one they add just makes it bigger. I think Scott Brown is a hell of a good guy, but who knows what Washington will do to him. Same goes for Mrs. Palin. I don't know if any human being could stay "honest" in DC. Fox news was bitching this morning about how it was costing us 100 million a day because Washington was snowed in. Heck, I figured we would be saving millions with the crooks all snowed in.

I guess that means you're opposed to the unprecedented growth of the Federal Government, both in size and scope, under Bush, right?

Don't know enough about Senator Centerfold but he drives a pickup, right? He must be okay. As for Palin, honest isn't one of the words that comes to mind when I think about her.

Yeah, that damned Obama Blizzard! All his fault! I guess Fox was whining about the cost of snow removal? What do they think we ought to do, just wait for it to melt?
