Same difference.

I find it interesting how someone can be labeled a "race baiter" before any facts are in evidence. And, I believe this to be just as telling as those who "play the race card" in the same fashion. It shows a blatant disregard for whether race actually is a factor or not.

It is just as dangerous.

When race as a reason is mentioned, it's seldom in context. It is often for the effect the word race generates. Race monger, race baiter, race card, reverse racist, so on and on. It's real purpose is to generate negativity and division. Dangerous and irresponsible.

There's also intent, I'd say, to pander to the feelings of those who resent criticisms of racism (often right wingers). These persons are pleased to be assured that such criticism is invalid, ill-motivated, and itself racist.

If you look at accusations of racism, and you declare those accusations as in themselves racist, then you create a funhouse mirror effect in which one may look further and further down the repetitious rabbit hole, while ignoring the reality all around it.

Roper-dope headline!

After this headline, you'd expect a classic hit-piece on Holder, right? Wrong. IT'S TOTALLY THE OPPOSITE!
