This post is why most don't bother posting here, and I rarely do myself. It's a small watercooler crowd that is, in essence, a PG-13 version of DU.

If they added a rule to make ad hominem attacks a bannable offence it would change the political climate here dramatically. I've seen it before on other sites.

But as long as a reasonable post is simply followed up by ad-hom attacks, this site just slips farther and farther into "leftist bubble" territory.

BTW, when I said "all", I meant the ones in my inner circle - which is pretty large and spans a lot of states. There are outliers for all belief systems. So I'm not a conduit for all conservatives. They don't think in lockstep, though they do adhere to certain principles in lockstep. That's what makes them conservatives.

Anyway, I have to get back to important stuff. I just thought I'd stop by and see how many of the conservatives are still posting here. You guys enjoy your bubble.

BTW, I just got back from five weeks in Seattle. This is my second trip in ten months. We drive there from Kentucky and back. We like to take different riouts and enjoy difference scenery. And this time that also meant different mask requirements. It was very interesting seeing how the different states are responding now.

There are two kinds of people in public places now: Maskless, and faceless. I'm in the former group.

Certainly there are people who's jobs went up in smoke because of the Covid recession ( how many who knows) who found other employment. If you found employment somewhere where they were glad to have you why go back to a situation you didn't like?
