Last night it was like last time - we are only going to get a dusting, yeah a four inch dusting is what they are now saying. You know we could fire everyone in Congress knowing they would all be employed tomorrow as weather forecasters.

Well they forecast up to six and we got four. Funny thing was there was not a single mention of "Oops, our previous forecast was dead wrong."

The weatherman I grew up watching liked to share his favorite "fan" mail. One of them was "Thanks for your forecast. I just shoveled 4 inches of partly cloudy off of my driveway."

That is because the jet stream "dip" that usually moves north has, if anything, dipped further south this year.
