Big push for equal pay

I fully support equal pay for women but don't see it as an issue any longer.

I think it an advantage to be a women in the workplace most times all things being equal.

In my 45 years in the workplace I can only recall stories were women benefited from their gender.

You support this new push so what examples can you give me to make me see this is an on going issue?

Oh, really? As I tell my bud, I may not always know who my friends are but my enemies have no problem declaring themselves with their policies and actions.

Compared to the shit the 'Pubs and the Jesus weasel right are pulling on them this is nothing and it is changing for the better. FWIW, I tend to take anything the American Boobyprize Institute puts out with a large grain of salt as they obviously have an agenda that serves the interests of their funders.

Well do you expect this story to come from a media source you agree with?

Besides the congressional budget sheet is there to disprove if your not happy with the sources.

Well it came out that the White House pays women around 11%-13% less than men. This is referring to the White House Staff.

Search google if your media sources are sweeping it under the carpet. Or look at the links I provided already.

Sorry but I disagree, women are not shown respect in most cases.

Can you be more specific?

I know for example when I was young and worked in retail women actually had it better than men.

In a shoe store I worked in we were paid a base salary plus a commission on what we sold.

When the delivery truck came it was the men who had to unload and put it away. In the meantime the women were on the sales floor earning extra. (BTW, this was at least a two day project per week)

This is one early example from my experience.
