This may have been answered already but this is just the Obama Administration's name for the "Free Speech Zones" created in his predecessor's administration. Other than the name, these differ from the Bush version in that they're not enclosed in chain link fencing topped by razor wire.

Decisions, decisions. Who to trust: Russian Television or CNN? I expect that all good conservatives know that Russia is the best source of U.S. news.

I'm not saying the CNN is the most reliable source in the world. but in the CNN article individuals from both sides of the issue were quoted.

Personally, I am skeptical when when self described militias claim that they are going to protect "our" liberty. It sounds like they long for the days before Marshall Dillon came along.

Apparently, the Bundys don't speak for all Nevada ranchers any more than Ted Bundy spoke for all GOP convention delegates. (Ted Bundy attended the 1968 GOP convention as a delegate for Nelson Rockefeller.)

My understanding is they are 20 years in arrears in paying for grazing rights on public lands, and they were over grazing it too and the BLM decided enough was enough.
