The Arbery verdict hopefully negates any validation would-be vigilantes might take from the Rittenhouse verdict. In my view, both were correctly decided under standing law, tho Rittenhouse imo was a specific one-off rather that a template for later cases.

My recommendation for harbors that would serve as good, and more reasonably priced options for Chicagoans...I would recommend those in NW Indiana and SW Michigan. After this verdict and becoming aware of the fucked up "stand your ground" laws in Wisconsin and fucked up judges in the Wisconsin circuit court system...I've had it for good with the fucking cheeseheads. Yeah...sure, Indiana is a red state, and Michigan isn't much better with their fucking militias, but at least the communities along the South Shore of Lake Michigan are pretty solidly blue between the Indiana border all the way up to St. Joseph, Michigan.

And the Rittenhouse trial?...

When the prosecution realized, through the interpretation of the Wisconsin law by judge Schroeder, that they had to prove that Rittenhouse wasn't in fear of his life, they knew it was gonna be impossible for them to get a verdict. And...the narrowing of the jury selection process by random dismissing of members of the jury pool (by the defendant? really?) Schroeder, made it impossible for the prosecution to get a verdict before the trial even bagan.

It has been suggested that the prosecution didn't actually *want* a guilty verdict, and so overreached on the charges knowing there would be no way the jury could convict.

I really hope that is not true, but I have a pretty miserable track record with assuming the best motivations for people...

Some are saying the rash of 'smash and grab' robberies are the result of Kyle's acquittal.

Thief's taking advantage of an opportunity.
No more no less is what I see.
Seeing it working and wanting in.....

Then using something as a excuse, if pushed they could not have any thing to back up as a excuse to explain their actions. Clearly hoping and thinking will gain some sympathy.

Just trying to get away with a crime.

Others who are wanting to use this thief's efforts for their own benefit will run with it to promote an on going agenda. One of hate and division.

Also.....something new in Kyle's life....

Do you suppose he was wearing makeup when he was on TV ? He had a clear complexion in the post trial interviews, and now this.

As soon as I heard the 3rd shooting victim(who lived) pointed a gun at Rittenhouse I knew the trial was over and he would walk

Exclamation Kyle Rittenhouse, the darling of the conservatives.

Kyle Rittenhouse Pleads for Donations, Says 'Legal Bills Are Piling Up'
The darling of the conservative Republicans and the NRA isn't being financially supported by them? I'm sure they've raised money off him so why aren't they breaking him off a piece? Thoughts & prayers kid.
That being said, if only this vigilante wannabe had stayed his ass home...
