See what deregulation does for us, black lung.

http://www.npr.org/2012/06/29/155978...ge?ft=1&f=1001

This is a preventable occupational disease, black lung. For everyone of you fans of deregging business and starving the beast how about donating one of your lungs? After all you have two and you are directly responsible for this.
What? No socially responsible libertarians here? I didn't think so.

How about Big Coal's active propaganda/intimidation campaign against those opposing mountaintop removal?

http://www.nytimes.com/2012/07/09/op...on-itself.html

There's ample evidence that criticizing Big Coal is a risky business in WV.

That NY Times piece is pretty eye-opening.

Guess they will need to change their auto tags, it is not "Wild and Wonderfull" anymore.

About halfway down that link was an article about the Mittster and about one that is either in Vogue or about to be,

http://www.nytimes.com/2012/07/09/op...me&ref=general

We should be building more Hydroelectric power plants but the hippie green
salamander freaks put more value on critters than our well being.

Got any rivers in mind that will not silt up the dam inside of three or four years. If we were really smart we would ask the Canadians for some CANDU reactors.

Here's the original, deeper article from Vanity Fair on the subject of Mitt hiding his monies overseas.

I for one could envision less hydro dams and would love to see a large part of Texas, New Mexico and Arizona turned into solar farms. Who cares about desert turtles and rednecks goin' extinct, eh?

I am surprised you are against hydroelectric Rob since Canada gets 60%
of their electricity compared to only about 7% in the United States.

Solar farms for New Mexico but I'd kinda like to see large portions of Arizona and Texas dammed up and flooded.
