Now, you can't tell me there any principled reason to favor assault and battery, but not killing, as political action. If you really have principles, you wouldn't talk bodily injury.

Having a clean criminal record, and also being a competitive powerlifter with a martial arts background (not to mention being an Irishman from da Bronx), I don't have a problem with dishing out some physical punishment, and I'm skilled enough to avoid it going lethal. I mean, seriously, no reasonable man wants to kill someone, especially over politics. An assault and battery charge? No big deal. A night in the tank followed by probation and anger management counseling? I can do that.

And I've done the reasonable approach for years, but what I see, with all the protest nonsense, and the accompanying assholery, one has to open one's self to the very real possibility in which physical violence might be necessary for the preservation of one's self.

It's their lack of education. They're being left behind by technology, their jobs are being replaced by automation. Those of us who evolved through continuous education will never be obsolete, so we need to have a bit of empathy for them. Very little, lol.
