He's a contrarian and drunk with power. The whole Democratic bloc could fall apart if this "I am essential to the 50+1 majority, so you have to do what I say' virus spreads much.

I took a quick look. 2019 median household income from the US Census Bureau:

West Virginia is $46,711 and Virginia is $74,222.

That is huge for neighboring states and even higher median income for Virginia has been published by other sites.

I'd rather the Dems had only the "Manchin problem" do deal with instead of that plus the GQP trying to sink both the Biden administration and the Democratic party.

Thanks. Speaking of W. VA, a history teacher was teaching his students on line and when he told them that Biden won the election, one of the parents simply killed their internet connection.
