Pro sports are not sports, they are a business. Universities and colleges are for the purpose of educating people, not building large stadia. If they put as much effort into educating people as they put into 'sports' we would be much better off.

It is kind of funny that conversation about the sports programs at our alma maters would arise in a thread about religion.

I always thought it was kind of cheesy for pro sports to have a bunch of cheerleaders dancing on the sidelines.

I always thought a bunch of bookies would be more appropriate.
