The Target Sticky Fingers deluxe cd comes with a vinyl copy of the album that arrives with free shipping I think the offer expires in December. It is only $17.99.
I recently purchased the Stones From The Vault Marquee Club 1971 DVD/CD it has three versions of I've Got The Blues and some other great stuff.

That's how attentive pleasure or critical listening works. Critical listeners take notes, pleasure listeners just go with the immersion.

I bought this DVD in Blu Ray format a few weeks back for improved sound quality. Last time I was streaming this DVD and felt the sound was awful. Well time to sit back and enjoy.

Even the geniuses can put out a dud. I was cleaning out the record stacks today and came across Oscar Peterson's "The Personal Touch." He covered some popular Canadian song, which would be OK, I suppose, but the syrupy strings that were added made it unlistenable for me. Fortunately, I found another album stuffed in the same sleeve - Joe Pass - "Ira , George and Joe, Joe Pass Loves Gershwin." Nice clean guitar.
Speaking of clean guitar, now spinning Albert Collins - Ice Pickin'

Speaking of 'The Band', I found a link to this gem on Charlie Pierce's page over at Esquire. Levon's daughter doing 'Acadian Driftwood'.
