An Indiana state trooper has been fired for proselytizing during traffic stops. See

This firing is proper and satisfactory, but I did take notice of a reference to "Policing for Jesus,' said to be a weekly radio show. One cop with a case of the Bibles is happenstance, but a 'policing for Jesus' movement is cause for concern.
I'm able to find that the 'Policing for Jesus' the radio show is the production of a trooper Dan Jones, another member of the state police force. But there are no reports of him proselytizing on state time, so it's considered acceptable. More i don't know--'Policing for Jesus' doesn't seem to have a web site....
Disquieting stuff, all in all. Police power and religion should definitely not be mixed.
