More gun madness!
https://www.rkguns.com/rga-86-polish...-launcher.html
""The RGA-86 26.5 mm (4 gauge) 15 shot rotary flare launcher requires NO licenses as the BATF Technology Branch has reviewed and designated this a non-weapon. This is not a firearm and must be used as intended. This unit is intended as a life-saving signaling device, and this launcher is not designed for or legal to use with any projectiles, shells or cartridges other than 26.5mm signal flares and smokes.""

Self defense? Hunting?
Or just toys that kill?
Really a flare gun????
Disclaimer.....
I'm a licensed gun owner.

Another technical evasion, re "bump stocks".
Another killtool for the best armed nutjobs anywhere anytime.
I do have reservations for unlimited birthright access.

I'm sure it's an absolute necessity to someone...……………
……..who sees all sorts of scary threats all around him that no one except other paranoid delusionals see......ever...…..because they don't actually exist.

Whether pre-occupied with 'threats' or not, weapons are thrilling magic that enhances feelings of masculine power. And, thanks to the NRA and other's propaganda, the feelings are now reinforced by the conviction that the more weaponry one has, the more 'freedom' one has.

Except for California the fire prone west allow the "flare gun" to be purchased.
Stupidity of a consumer is only surpassed by the greed of retailers of mayhem it now seems.

The flare shooter is on the farther side of affordable fun, something "different" nonetheless.
What's the application? Are the luxury cruise lines putting them in lifeboats, or what?

I doubt the FFs intended lawful citizens be denied weaponry by federal law, tho I doubt there was any prescience for privately accumulated arsenals of high capacity-rapid fire repeating firearms. Funny how malleable the "originalists" are on this one single amendment.

The original application for this was probably police/military crowd control, firing tear gas, rubber bullets, etc. The weapon would be too expensive and bulky to stock in lifeboats, that would hardly need the rapid-fire capability anyway.... Appeal here is probably to weapons freaks who like to experiment with making their own (illegal) explosive or anti-personnel rounds, and like the idea of packing a whole barrage of such in one magazine.
I checked the link and these are used weapons coming out of Poland. Former communist state police equipment it would seem.

If you think about it, the Communists were the "Party of Law and Order". Sound familiar?

The rule-of-law anti-Federalists have elevated a King George monarch aspirant to the Presiding office.
"Originalism" indeed!
