Just watched K-Pax with Kevin Spacey and Jeff Bridges. Not bad as a sort of low key oddball drama.

I'd been avoiding this movie for years because i thought it was one I'd already watched (as much as I could stand). That one was about some alien visitor dude with powdery white skin who went around crying a lot about the awful things people do. Anyone remember the name of that one?

Good guess but no, not "Starman." Did a little digging and found the one i had in mind. Title is "Powder." I'm wrong, main guy was a mutant, not an alien. Big diff.

Wikipedia quotes a NT Times reviewer who has it right I think: "..."lethally dull ... this intensely self-important film has no idea how absurd and unconvincing it is."
