you would be amazed at how well informed one can get while listening to the BBC World Service ....you do not even need those shortwave radios anymore....

I was thinking we could create these giant factories and use processed cockroach meat as a great source of protein....the burger would taste like beef but of course be all cockroach flesh.....

sort of soylent green but using bugs

Maybe if they give them growth hormones and antibiotics we could have frankenroaches, dip them in batter and fry them we would have Pop-A-Roach snacks.

Or maybe even Roachzilla!

you are making me think of that old movie Five Billion Years To Earth Carl....
(Quatermass and the Pit was the UK title)....still very creepy if you have not seen it. The aliens in the ship they find in the subway look like poodle-sized cockroache or grasshoppers

I could see that! Monsanto develops growth hormone to raise cow sized cockroaches. Then the Bovineus Roachhideous Gigantii escape, breed uncontrollably and attack us.
