Add 'Tombstone' to that list.

Just finished watching the 3rd Hunger Games movie.

I don't really care if the movie was good or not, I just like to watch them because Jennifer Lawrence is so fucking hot as Katniss. Even in this movie where she spends a lot of the time dressed in what looks like a set of Dickies work clothes.

One thing that really bugs me is that she's hooked up with that sawed off little runt Peeta. She looms over him and they look ridiculous together. He looks like he should be her baby brother.

I thought this time they were gonna kill the little fucker off so she would be freed up to get herself a decent sized boyfriend, but no, the little shit is still alive.

For Christ sake girl, dump his little ass and hook up with the tall dude Gale!

Watched "The Pilgrims" last night on PBS.

The real story of the first Thanksgiving is a lot different from the version I was taught as a kid.

Saw that too. It was pretty good.

One of the interesting things was the influence of the Civil War on whether we considered Jamestown or Plymouth as symbolic of America's beginnings. Jamestown was founded 13 years before Plymouth but Jamestown was in the rebellious South. Lincoln established Thanksgiving as an official holiday in 1863, thus relegating the status of Jamestown to a secondary place in our history.
