Campaign Finance

Welcome to the Corporate States of America, brought to you by Koch Industries. Here in the Corporate States of America, we believe cheap, servile and docile labor is key to building a Great Nation!

All aided and abetted by John Roberts and Company, formerly known as the Supreme Court.

According to some the only unbiased source are the Koch brothers.

What's to argue about this quote extracted from the article?

"Understand what we do to you," Kimball said to viewers. "We spend all of our time raising money, often from strangers we do not even know. Then we spend it in three specific ways: First we measure you, what it is you want to purchase in the political marketplace--just like Campbell's soup or Kellogg's cereal. Next, we hire some consultants who know how to tailor our image to fit what we sell. Lastly, we bombard you with the meaningless, issueless, emotional nonsense that is always the result. And whichever one of us does that best will win."

Precisely.

Marketing a bill of goods. Selling a "brand". Using vacuous rhetoric to sell silly, nebulous and false goals, "Take our country back to the Good ol' Days", "Christian Family Values", "Restore Honor", "Hope and Change", "Reinventing America", "Are you tired of other people living off of your paycheck?", blah, blah, blah, yak, yak, yak.......................all the while slowly stripping away everything worth having. Our privacy, our right to assembly, our ability to protect ourselves from abusive employers, our ability to sue when we have been wronged (Tort Reform)...........and on, and on, and on.

Anytime I want to be reminded of how well the far right brainwashing has worked, I read one of your posts. You are living proof that Limbaugh, Boortz, Hannity, et al are the best propagandists in the business.

What in the hell do public unions have to do with your "civil rights"?

And don't you know that Australian fellow that became a United States citizen solely for the purpose of owning more United States media outlets is drooling with anticipation of the Christmas present handed him from the Supreme Court. Check's in the mail, cha-ching.

Now tell me how much did the democrat machine generate for Obama in 08? I think both sides ought to be out, but government itself ought to be restrained from expansion. Politicians ought be limited to a single term.
