Not an Obamunist?

I checked Republican but I'm further away each day. I believe Constitutional Reformist? might be more accurate, as I'd like to see the Constitution given much more weight and a top down audit of the entire federal government. Never happen though, too many fingers, not enough pie.

I see it's neck and neck with Democrat and Shut Up

I'm a conservative democrat. A son of one of Kennedy's guys and damn proud of it, warts and all. I don't feel any need to join with any particular faction but as a realist I understand that aligning myself with the Democratic party will do more good than not. Don't like it? I really don't give a ratz ass.

I think I'll vote, 'Shut up already'.

Yeah, I voted shut up already. The Democratic party is almost as corporatist as the Republican party, but "flaming leftie" suggests unthinking positions. I might be close to Soshulist, but too practical to look for candidates that would promote such an agenda.

I guess that makes us twin sons of different mothers. If the GOP had a sizable faction of George Schultz, Howard Baker, Alan Simpson, George H.W. Bush and Olympia Snowe types and thereby consigned Teabaggers, Fox News and talk radio blowhards to irrelevance, I'd be a Republican again. Until then, I'm a registered independent but I caucus with the Democrats because they seem less looney.
