Oh shit. For decades you people whine; "Ooooo, they're taking away Christmas! Boo hoo hoo..........." Now you bitch because the government is promoting Christmas trees?

If I didn't believe in free speech, like YOU don't, I would yell at you to just STFU.
FIFTEEN CENTS A YEAR has you're panties in a bunch?

You're pathetic.

Me too. I just wish your party would stop using it as a tool to manipulate the simpleminded.

Heck Christmas itself is Christian. Along with Easter, Thanksgiving...

Christmas trees border idolatry imo, singing hymns to a tree.

Why not? It's perfectly reasonable to base a religion on directives issued by flaming shrubbery?

The Christmas tree is about as much of a Christian symbol as an Oak tree is. It is more of a pagan fertility symbol. Get it "evergreen". The date of December 25 does not .....................
complex, but I know one thing, Christmas is made up out of whole cloth. So is Easter. Really a bunny hides eggs to celebrate the resurrection of the "son of God" Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ was a great man, but I am afraid I am more of a believer in the Jeffersonian bible than the King James version of the Bible.

Gotta go now. House Hunters is on.
That may be all true, but that is not what people think of Christmas.

Yeh, they think of fighting the holidays crowds to buy obligatory and unwanted, Chinese-made junk just like the clowns on Madison Ave. want them to do. It's Madison Ave. (along with Coca Cola, of all people) who took the Christ out of Christmas, not liberals.

That's because they choose religious dogma over the constitution.

They're taxing Christmas trees. Woo. It's the end of the world.

My Christmas tree is plastic and sits, decorated, in the closet until Thanksgiving. Goes back in on Jan 2nd.
No grower has sold me a tree and no government has taxed my tree for nearly twenty years. As far as I'm concerned the entire holiday is as fake and cheesy as the tree anyhow. (But, it is pretty to look at.)
