I thinks this could belong in the conspiracy corner. Tancredo was urging maes to drop(IIRC) and he didn't. I thihnk he is PO and you are seeing the GOP turn on its own.

BTW - Tancredo is a little scary in my opinion.

I think Tancredo said he's drop his third party candidacy if Maes dropped out in favor of a "real Republican".
