I would.
But I see a quandry for the Left on this - how can they argue Arizona is wrong and CA would be right?

It's not a quandary at all. It's a conundrum.

Well, I suppose it was insurance provided by the Postal Service, but that was back in the days before the total government take-over of health care.

Back to the topic of legalization of combustible herbs. I feel the only way it can happen on a national scale is a black & white presentation of numbers...additional tax revenue (but not HUGE...or it goes underground again) & the savings in police & prison expense.
Back in the 30s, medical research disproved nearly all the wild claims that reefer would lead to instant degradation and a life as a jazz-loving junkie...but, Harry Anslinger (the first "drug czar") and his minions beat that research into the ground.
Current research still supports the contention that it's a benign substance that, at worst, causes cravings for Twinkies & Doritos & mellow music.
All it would take is for ONE congressman to say "we've been idiots for over 70 years!" & have the cojones to introduce a bill...and the rest may well follow. It would be really nice if a national referendum could be held...the privacy of the voting booth is a powerful thing. At least then the issue would be framed in black & white instead of the shadings we must endure presently.

a fine thought but it's not gonna happen. People are not rational, they are emotional. best to learn and early and save yourself lots of frustration.
