Sorry I wasn't clear. Let me try again.

Meyerson's presentation of the facts - both in this article and others I've seen from him - is both colored by his point of view and, in some cases, flat out incorrect. He will also, either by design or by error, omit certain facts when they don't comport with his point of view.

In the article in question, for example, he never bothers to engage in any intellectual curiosity about why corporations are sitting on cash, or why health premiums are on the rise, and present these findings in his op-ed. He simply chooses conclude that the practice itself - of maintaining a strong cash position or increasing premiums - is evil.

I guess that's why they call it an op-ed. Its an opinion, not necessarily an informed one, and nothing more.

That is why it is the OpEd page, they are all opinions, and that includes Gearson, Will and Krauthammer.

Yet oddly enough Will and Krauthammer get challenged about their "facts" on just about every second piece they write, Meyerson rarely does.

So it's media bias not to accept, without question, the facts upon which a conservative columnist bases his opinion.

Not surprised about either Will or Krauthammer, I think both are getting senile.

As to the WaPo being liberal, they only have one token liberal there with E.J. Dionne. Gene Robinson is more of a centrist, the rest are all somewhere to the right of Ghenghis Khan.
