Amid the shouting, pontificating, finger-pointing, bigotry and self-righteousness, twittering through our political scene, some still
remind us of what humans may strive for. Martin Luther King III writes that he supports the right of Glen Beck to hold his demonstration, and even gives it some props. Mr. King also describes the breadth of his father's desire to make the world a better place. The grace this son of a murdered hero demonstrates is an example of what Americans are capable of being. Now if more of us could demonstrate that spirit as well, we will get past this temporary breakdown of our values, and back to making the world a better place to live.
