Ken Herman @kherman
GOP election law atty Ben Ginsberg, says no chance for Paxton suit:
"Absolutely not. The notion that a Texas attorney general is going to try and disenfranchise the voters from four other states for laws that were in effect on Election Day is just not meritorious in the least."

Rep. Paul Mitchell @RepPaulMitchell
Apparently the President and his “advisors” wish to play “chicken” with raises for our troops and important national defense provisions of the NDAA until he gets precisely what he demands. I will vote to pass and to override any veto!

"Russian state media—a reliable barometer of the mood at the Kremlin—remains fixated on election-related events in America. Affectionately referring to Donald Trump as “our Donald,” “Trumpusha” and “Comrade Trump,” Russian lawmakers, experts and pundits repeatedly have expressed their concerns about the future of Moscow’s all-time favorite U.S. president.
Co-host of Russian state TV news talk show 60 Minutes Olga Skabeeva brought up the possibility that President Trump would end up seeking asylum in Russia to escape any prosecutions in the United States following the conclusion of his sole presidential term. Skabeeva emphasized that this was by no means a joking matter: “It’s all very serious,” she said, as she pondered out loud about the nature of criminal charges Trump might soon be facing." DB

Shit, I'd gladly contribute to a 'go fund me' if the ochre skidmark leaves for Moscow tomorrow. Double if he takes his misbegotten progeny with him.

Sen. David Perdue Sold His Home to a Finance Industry Official Whose Organization Was Lobbying the Senate
The same year FINRA was lobbying the Senate on a bill, one of its board governors paid Perdue $1.8 million for his D.C. townhouse. Perdue sits on the Senate Banking Committee, which oversaw the bill.

We apologize for endorsing U.S. Rep. Michael Waltz (R), who wants to overturn the election | Editorial
By ORLANDO SENTINEL EDITORIAL BOARD
https://www.orlandosentinel.com/opin...oku-story.html
Quote:
We apologize to our readers for endorsing Michael Waltz in the 2020 general election for Congress.
We had no idea, had no way of knowing at the time, that Waltz was not committed to democracy.
During our endorsement interview with the incumbent congressman, we didn’t think to ask, “Would you support an effort to throw out the votes of tens of millions of Americans in four states in order to overturn a presidential election and hand it to the person who lost, Donald Trump?”
Our bad.

Um, he's a disgusting Repube. OF COURSE you should never have endorsed the ass!

Just idle thought of why the majority of the Repubs are playing suckerfish to tRump. Maybe it's not so much as fear as it is jockeying for his voters? Should #DiaperDon for whatever reason leaves politics there's still the Repub base. Sheep looking for a shepherd. With Donny out of the picture maybe one of them hopes to catch the fire. Addled fools are very useful if you can be their Pied-Piper. The loudest supporting tRump could easily be the next standard bearer and there would be plenty willing to ride their coattails.
Or this could all be just so much malarky
