Obama wins again

http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSTRE62T06520100330

Now please excuse me while I fall dead of a heart attack. And before I finally expire, I will admit that he's not as dumb as I thought he was.

But I still smell a rat.

And there are those that believe Obama an ideologue and socialist?

Bullshit.

He's a pragmatist.

He's beginning to behave as one...or at least a politician.

If he pans out, I'll give him his due. For all I know, he may be right. But I do know one thing, I wouldn't take his job on a bet.

I've heard that somewhere.

After delivering much less that what the left wanted in a health care bill, Obama is really setting himself up for a big hit from the left flank. Once again though, he stressed in his campaign that energy independence was not only an economic concern, it is also a security concern. This comminist furriner lefty wuss seems to be making some tough decisions - like upping the forces in Afghanistan and going after real terrorists; and determining that energy independence is more important than following the party line on off-shore drilling. He is looking stronger on terrorism as his presidency goes on.

D-Ray

It might have been the Onion, but I remember someone, after the '08 elections, publishing a headline "AMERICA GIVES WORST JOB IN THE WORLD TO A BLACK MAN."

Yeah, but can he run a Burger King?

It's a cheap shot.... pay no attention to the racist behind the curtain.

To be serious, before the election I said that whatever he did would not be that much different that what was already happening. He's moved somewhat to the left, but the president is constrained by current events, and there is only do so much he can do.

Anyone who thinks the boss runs things is FOS. All the boss does it try to make everyone happy. And the further up the ladder your go, the more people you have to make happy.

Kinda like owning a business isn't it. Instead of having one boss, you have dozens.

I have a friend who started his own business, because he wanted "to be my own boss.". He was into it exactly one month when he called me and said; "Now EVERYBODY is my fucking boss." A year later he bemoaned the fact that he could no longer take any time off. "Man, I've been working seven days a week since I started this shit."

I work for other people, and I try to make sure I'm working for big companies that offer paid vacations and holidays. You can have that "self employed" crap. If that's your thing, have at it.

Regards,
Dave

I am REALLY tempted to say something, but I'll let it slide.
