It may be solidly Repulican but his opponent seems to be giving him a run for it. I would be beautiful to see him lose both.

The truth is that Ryan will make big bucks by losing in his bid for VP. His speaking fee will be well into six figures. He will sell a book or two. He will get a show on Fox. The good side is that he might be comfortable enough that he will conclude that campaigning is for the birds.

Maybe he can become a Wisconsin elementary school teacher. His fairy tales may find a receptive audience there, though he'd probably earn more than he's worth.
