So, I take it you think it's fine for Breitbart to collude with Russia to spread their fake news and for its boss to later become Trump's chief advisor. Who needs democracy when we can have a vain-glorious, compromised Putin stooge as President?

Thoughts?

The only way you can "manipulate votes" is to somehow get access to the voting machines or the voting process. Also, reportedly Trump spent far less than Hillary's campaign and still won.
Broadly speaking, for a foreign entity's money to end up in our election process is troubling. But it has been a fact of life for years that foreign money ends up finding its way to candidates for US office even though its prohibited by law. Remember the Clinton's accepting money from the Chinese?
Do you think its also wrong when we interfere in the election process of other countries?

Show me evidence or proof that Breitbart colluded with Russia. You seem to have come to the conclusion that this collusion occurred, so let's see your proof.

Comey's working on it, just as you hope. Meanwhile, Trump colludes with Fox to have Judge Jersey Girl renounce Ryan. More fun than a barrel of monkeys.

As stated, my comment was very loose. So yeah in this case the spending example was inaccurate. But in general it is not.

Absolutely I think it is wrong. I think it is wrong any time any government or foreign entity tries to have any influence on any election. This should be sacred right of the people governing themselves.

I still think that a country that attempts to influence an election is "manipulating votes". This may be syntactically incorrect, but in practicality I feel it is accurate.

I think there's no question that it is manipulating voters. In fact, that was the obvious intent of the whole effort by Russia. Whell is just deflecting for his Dear Leader.

Senate investigators plan to question Jared Kushner, President Trump’s son-in-law and a close adviser, as part of their broad inquiry into ties between Trump associates and Russian officials or others linked to the Kremlin, according to administration and congressional officials.
The White House Counsel’s Office was informed this month that the Senate Intelligence Committee, which is investigating Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election, wanted to question Mr. Kushner about meetings he arranged with the Russian ambassador, Sergey I. Kislyak, according to the government officials. The meetings included a previously unreported sit-down with the head of Russia’s state-owned development bank.
Until now, the White House had acknowledged only an early December meeting between Mr. Kislyak and Mr. Kushner, which occurred at Trump Tower and was also attended by Michael T. Flynn, who would briefly serve as the national security adviser.
Later that month, though, Mr. Kislyak requested a second meeting, which Mr. Kushner asked a deputy to attend in his stead, officials said. At Mr. Kislyak’s request, Mr. Kushner later met with Sergey N. Gorkov, the chief of Vnesheconombank, which the United States placed on its sanctions list after President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia annexed Crimea and began meddling in Ukraine.

We have a democracy which is how Trump became President. Although your bemused head spinning is truly amusing.

Voter manipulation is practiced by both parties and the fourth estate.
